As a former engineering student myself – and more importantly as a human being – my heart is with the students, faculty, staff, and families of everyone down there. The current count varies between 22 and 30 murder victims with another 20 people injured. I sincerely hope that media hysteria is driving these numbers and that the actual numbers are much lower…
Being based here in Washington, DC, it is hard to be involved in technology without working with or meeting a Hokie on an almost daily basis. And I can't think of a single one who hasn't been sharp and great teammate and/or friendly competition.
